The shortlist of the Ipswich Arts Festival Short Story Prize is announced.

We congratulate the following ten shortlisted authors - Natalie Armitage, Carl Bennett, Matthew Blackbeard, Ed Broom, Sue Dawes, Ric Hardacre, Christine Irvine, George McKissock, Michelle Webb and Sue Whittaker.

The winners will be announced and prizes presented by Sarah Hall on Friday 29 June, 6.30pm at the Spiegel Tent, Christchurch Park, Ipswich.

The shortlisted stories will be available to read on the Festival and UCS websites during the Festival.
