Gospel choir records song for local
charity
Ipswich Community Gospel Choir has recently recorded a charity song
in support of the EACH Tree House Appeal called "I'll be
there".
The song was written and produced by the choir's Co-Director Andy
Rayner and recorded last month at Wendy House Studios
and Christ Church in Felixstowe.
Nathan Simmonds ICGC Director said: "This was a great opportunity
for us as a community choir to do something active for the
community, we hope the recording will add something to the
development of such an important facility".
The single will be available shortly via download from iTunes,
Amazon and other popular mp3 sites, with all profits going to the
Tree House Appeal.
ICGC will be performing the song "I'll be there" as
part of their "Forever Praise"
concert at the Ipswich Corn Exchange. Andy
Rayner, ICGC Co-Director added: "We hope the
performance of the song will encourage people to support this
very worth while Appeal".
The concert will include contemporary and traditional gospel songs,
a Dance Performance from a group of talented local dancers who have
come together to showcase 'Praise in Dance', and there'll also be a
special guest appearance from London-based Gospel singer Ann-Marie
Davis, who is currently taking the UK gospel scene by storm.
This is an event for the whole family, ICGC's "Forever Praise"
concert will be held on Saturday 3rd July. Doors open 6:45 for a
7:30 start. Tickets cost £5, £3 concession and are available from
the Ipswich Arts & Entertainment Box Office, tel: 01473
